Daven Primary are lucky to have an established woodland area on their school site and have launched a crowd funding project aimed at renovating the area and restarting sessions in the forest later this year. Check out our funding page: https://www.spacehive.com/davens-woodland-restoration

As part of our school grounds improvement project we want to restart using the woodland area that borders our field. This beautiful (and sizeable) woodland needs some work before it is safe to use. The strong winds earlier this year brought down several trees and they are unstable because they are resting on other trees. The woodland floor is overgrown and lots of very large saplings have grown on the old paths making them almost impassable. The woodland is an amazing area and we are determined to get the most out of it as a learning resource.
