Daven Primary school choir were delighted to attend the unveiling of the statue of Elizabeth Wolstenholme Elmy in Congleton town centre on Tuesday 8th March 2022. The school researched Elizabeth Wolstenholme-Elmy in Elizabeth week in February. The children learnt that she campaigned for women to have the right to vote, and lived in Congleton from 1874-1918.
