The Learning for Life Proud to be part of The Learning for Life

Year 3

Snow Day - Thursday 19th January

WALT: Multiply two digits by one digit.

Copy the questions onto a piece of paper and have a go!

The questions are set up in the same way they were in our lesson yesterday.

Once you have had a go, go on to your TTRockstars (your log ins are stuck into your reading diaries)

WALT: Use adverbs accurately.

Complete this small activity about adverbs on a piece of paper.

Remember an adverb describes how a verb was done.

For example: Miss Allen walked through the classroom elegantly.

Verb: walked

Adverb: elegantly - this is because it describes how I walked.

WALT: Identify light sources in our homes.

We looked at light sources last week in our science lesson, can you find any light sources in your home?

Remember a light source is something that produces its own light!

Can you make a list of different light sources in your home?

Can you draw the light sources and write a sentence to explain why you think it is a light source.

Have a go on TTRockstars.

Remember to read your book from school because we are on our way to reading our first 100,000 words.

Enjoy the snow and hopefully see you all tomorrow!

Miss Allen

Please familiarise yourselves with our uniform policy. This consists of black shoes (not trainers), black or grey trousers/ skirts, a blue or green polo top, however we are in the process of phasing out the green, it is still okay to wear but you will be unable to purchase this colour, a navy jumper or cardigan. If children have their ears pierced, they must be studs only and need to be removed for PE. Hair dye that is of an unnatural colour is not part of our uniform policy.

As a parent or carer, you can play a key role in helping your child to stay safe online. Take a look at these resources on how you can support your child to use the internet safely, responsibility and positively.
